Privacy sensitive data

Medical data is often sensitive. And then U-Clinic is also specialized in fairly intimate disorders. That is why we pay above-average attention to safeguarding your privacy. We collect all your data in a medical file, so that we can quickly look up what we have done together during a subsequent visit. The medical file is treated in strict confidence in accordance with the guidelines of the General Data Protection Regulation (AVG, also known under the English abbreviation GDPR, General Data Protection Regulation).

Updated privacy policy

With the entry into force of the new GDPR law, we have critically reviewed and improved our privacy policy so that you can easily understand what data we collect and why.

Personal data that we process

U-Clinic can process your personal and medical data, because you use the services of U-Clinic or because you have filled it in yourself in the contact form on our website.

We process the following data:

  • First and last name (or initials)
  • Address data
  • phone number
  • E-mail address
  • Date of birth
  • Social Security Number
  • Insurance details
  • Medical data
  • IP address

We use Google Analytics cookies on our site. For this we have concluded a processor agreement with Google. The last octet of the IP address is masked and ‘data sharing’ is disabled. We do not use other Google services in combination with the Google Analytics cookies.

    Information and consent regarding treatments

We strongly believe in collaboration with our patients: ‘co-creation’. The greater your involvement and understanding of the treatment, the more likely you are to have a positive healing process. In addition, we are of course legally obliged to inform you as well as possible about the treatment. You will therefore receive an extensive information package before your treatment and the doctor will tell you in a personal conversation what will happen, what the possible risks are and what else you can expect, for example in the area of pain, discomfort or side effects. We also discuss possible alternatives together and, as far as possible, we give an indication of the prospects. You must give written permission for each treatment. We are not allowed to examine or treat you without this permission.

If you want to know more about this, read
our full privacy policy here .
